For Love of You
How does one sum up a lifetime of sacrifice, sadness, and strength? That was my mother.
I started writing poems about her after she passed away. All the poems in this chapbook dedicated to her are based on true events and feelings. Many of them are from her past experiences that she shared with me. I was there for the later times. I remember many vividly.
The poems in this book sum up a lifetime of love from my mother, and for my mother. I used a poetic-license for some of them, but they are all grounded in fact.
Thank you for sharing this journey of love, loss, and hope as seen through a daughter’s eyes.
